Download Complimentary Tools to Help You Engage Students

Microsoft Education offers a variety of complimentary, downloadable, interactive tools to help you motivate and inspire your students through the use of interactive multimedia tools. One such tool is Interactive Classroom. Interactive Classroom lets you insert polling questions into PowerPoint presentations to make lessons a two-way activity between you and your students. Interactive Classroom works with the 2007 and 2010 versions of PowerPoint and OneNote.

This Microsoft Office add-in connects your PowerPoint presentation to your students’ OneNote notebooks. During a presentation, you can:

  • Poll students with multiple choice, true/false, or yes/no questions.
  • Distribute the lesson to students with OneNote.
  • Include real-time ink and text annotations.

Students can answer and respond through their individual OneNote notebooks, handheld clickers, or computers, and then you can display the results in your presentation. Students also walk away with consolidated notes that match yours, so they can keep track of what they need to study.

Find Interactive Classroom and other complimentary tools on the Microsoft Office 2010 add-ins site.
